Something old, something new, something....

They thought it was all over... I know, I haven't written to you in ages. Thrice sorry...
We thought we had loads of time. You know, relaxing, taking much earned rest...hmmm... we wish. Before we could say Donal Lunny's your uncle, we had to get going again. For one thing, we hadn't nearly met enough people who don't know about Dunkineely. Two, we had some CD's left AND we are getting ready for ...tadaaaah!! A NEW SHOW! Uhuh, can't tell you what it is yet...but if you're really clever you can look up the new theater guides and maybe you'll find us in there.
So here we are, chasing our tails all over Holland again, doing the Lost in Dunkineely gig and wracking our brains about new stuff to play and new songs to write. If you see me frown on stage it's probably because my head is jammed between making up new lyrics and trying to remember the old! Evertjan's face will be scrunched up between thinking up new music and trying to play the pipes which really are very difficult to play even if you are concentrating. Siards face will probably be the same as he's always making up new stuff even while doing the old stuff. Philip's expression of focused serenity might twitch here and there as little jolts of electricity prompt him to new rythms...That happens anyway, we haven't got him rigged up or anything...
We are incredibly lucky to have the crew that we have now. Our old friend Hans Wijnbergen on sound, has stuck by us like something extremely sticky. Annelies Smeenge and Pieter Prins are our dynamic duo and do everything from lighting, smoking (every sense of the word) setting up, packing up, cooking (YUM!) and generally making us feel like the Rolling Stones (except for the drugs and the coconuts).
